Q. In future, robots may do more of the work that is done by humans today. Would the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

The contemporary era is an era of modernization. The great advances in artificial intelligence and robotics have brought various benefits to our society, and these benefits are believed to continue in the future. However, some people think that robots are a dangerous innovation that threatens humans. Here in this essay, we will discuss both of these points of view and provide arguments for the latter.

To begin with, robots are a viable alternative to human labor in many fields. In an environment unsafe for the employment of human labour, robots play an irreplaceable role in replacing workers today. For example, they can be used effectively to remove radioactive waste at nuclear power plants or to perform tasks impossible for astronauts in space stations. In addition, it is more productive for robots to perform trivial and repetitive tasks. The best example is industrial robots. They can work on a conveyor belt more efficiently than humans because they are tireless, fast, and accurate. As robotics continues to advance, robots will be able to do more, benefiting human society in the coming years.

However, the widespread use of robots is inevitably a cause for concern. Firstly, some people are quite skeptical about robots, fearing that one day these machines will become too smart for humans to operate. This would be a disaster for mankind. Another concern is that they will cause massive unemployment. Thousands of workers are being laid off due to the introduction of various types of robots. Such a large number of unemployed people can pose a potential threat to social stability.

In conclusion, I believe that robots will become an integral part of the era of technology dominance. Used correctly, they can serve as good servants and make our future life more fantastic.
