Q. The line graph below shows the average monthly temperatures in three major cities.

The line graph illustrates the change in temperature in three major cities (Paris, Dubai and Sydney) in different months of the year. Temperature is measured in degrees Celsius.

The temperature in Paris never rises above 20 degrees. In contrast, Dubai rarely experiences temperatures below this level, with the exception of January (19 degrees Celsius). However, despite the striking differences, the temperatures in Paris and Dubai still share some similarities as they have steadily risen since the beginning of the year and peak in August. The highest temperatures in Paris and Dubai are 20 and 36 degrees respectively. After that, it became colder in both cities, and the temperature steadily dropped. As you can see, the temperature difference between August and December in Paris and Dubai is the same, 15 degrees Celsius.

As for Sydney, in January there are 24 degrees of temperature. From there, temperatures drop steadily before dropping to their lowest point of 14 degrees in July. In the remaining five months, the temperature will rise sharply and reach 23 degrees by the end of the year.

Overall, the weather in Sydney is quite the opposite of Dubai and Paris. In addition, Paris is the coldest city among the three.
