Q.
With growing population in cities, more and more people live in a home with small or no outdoor areas. Is it a positive or negative development?
These days, an increasing number of people live in urban areas with little or no outdoor space. In my opinion, this is a negative phenomenon for several reasons.
To
commence with, living in a house with little space can lead to various health problems. First and foremost, isolation in a limited area and the lack of opportunities for outdoor activities increase the likelihood of depression. In addition, insufficient air circulation in the room causes respiratory diseases and reduces efficiency. Living in such an atmosphere for a long time would only bring bad behavior such as laziness. Finally, the inability to exercise outdoors can lead to obesity. If people didn't have space to do some active tasks, like gardening, they would lead a sedentary lifestyle, which would make them obese.
On the other hand, it seems more economical to live in smaller houses, especially in the city center. Homeowners can save money by renting a home that is smaller and cheaper. However, there are still some aspects in which space outweighs its counterpart. Large spaces for extended families serve as a stimulus for the physical and mental development of their children. Obviously, by playing outdoor sports in the garden or outdoors activities, people can relieve stress and children can strengthen their immune system.
