Q. If some people get a chance to choose between life without work in spending most of the time working, then they would choose not to work. Do you agree or disagree?

Today we live in a world full of various questions, the answer to which requires serious knowledge of the Universe. Many people argue that if societies are given the opportunity to choose between working their whole lives and living without working, they will choose the second option. This essay will be written taking into account the writer's agreement with the theory presented.

To commence with, I believe that people are lazy by nature. This means that our instincts try to convince us not to work hard if there is a way to achieve the goal without much effort. For example, nowadays one can see a growing trend among young people, especially teenagers, that they prefer to earn income from playing video games rather than studying a course at university and finding a job based on their degree. Therefore, we invent new methods to work less or at least in a more comfortable situation.

Moreover, we all know that work does not equal a luxurious lifestyle. In other words, we recognize the fact that many people simply can meet their basic needs by working full-time. Thus, they cannot achieve all their dreams and goals by simply working as hard as they can. To illustrate: Most of our parents worked eight hours a day, five days a week for 30 years, but they don't even own a home.

To conclude, there is an assumption that people prefer not to work at all if they have the opportunity, and I believe that this is a fact that cannot be considered untrue about the nature of humanity. From my point of view, we all at some point in our lives realized that work, even good work, will not be a magic wand that will make the impossible possible. As a result, signing a lifetime resignation letter seems like a much better proposition, especially in a world like ours.
