Q. The major cities in the world are growing fast, as well as their problem. What are the problems that young people living in cities are facing with? Give solutions to these problems.

There is no doubt that cosmopolitan cities face different challenges. Poor housing and environmental pollution are the most dangerous; however, they can be managed effectively by establishing a planned city outside the city center.

On the one hand, when large numbers of people migrate to urban areas, this can lead to a shortage of suitable housing. In other words, city residents may be forced to live in cramped conditions where they lack safe water and sanitation. In addition, the influx of residents means that the urbanized site is vulnerable to pollution from industry and vehicles. For instance, in Mumbai, where there is a slum called Dharavi, millions of migrant workers live in miserable conditions that are often seen as the epicenter of many diseases as most of the residents live without basic needs and the region is highly polluted as well.

On the other hand, the above-mentioned problems will be greatly reduced if the city government develops a proper action plan to counter the difficulties encountered. The first and most important thing is to bring industrial enterprises and transnational companies to the outskirts of the city. By doing this, gradually and slowly the crow moves to a new location, over time the vehicles can be reduced. Moreover, for example, authorities can impose stricter penalties on traffic violators, as well as traffic bans and encouragement of public transport, which can significantly limit pollution in this busy part of the world.

In conclusion, although due to the large number of people living in cities, it can lead to the destruction of housing and increased pollution, this problem can be solved by reducing the congestion of people and vehicles on the roads. It is recommended that every village should be planned keeping in mind future needs and pollution.
