Evening Slot - Writing Task 2 

 

Q. Some individuals think parents should read or tell stories to children. Others think parents do not need this, since children can read books or watch TV, movies by themselves. Discuss both views and give your personal opinion.

Parents take care of their children every step of the way. While some individuals believe that parents should teach children different stories, others believe that parents should not involve in that as a teenager have the ability to understand and analyze those stories and lessons by themselves.  People have different views on whether an organization is helping to meet serious needs or focusing on its citizens. This essay will consider two views and conclude my own opinion.

There are many benefits to parenting teaching children about stories. Children can understand stories by reading themselves, but not to the same level as older people. As they grow older, their analytical abilities also increase. Therefore, if parents make them understand stories by reading and translating, they will be able to understand them much better. Moreover, if children begin to read and watch stories themselves, there is a possibility of misunderstanding the concept of stories (If Moral stories), as well as the ability to choose bad programs and stories on their own. For example, older adults always advise parents to teach their children good moral stories that are used to improve and understand a person's values.

However, some people believe that parents should not always keep their children at every turn when they read books, watch TV, so they should be able to understand stories by reading themselves. People say that today's children are very different from older children. It has been proven that today's children have the ability to understand situations and act in accordance with them, they not only read fairy tales, but can also teach others. For example, in modern schools, children who are just starting out can learn and complete multiple tasks much faster than their parents.

To conclude, although today's children are much better able to analyze situations and stories, parents always have a responsibility to keep track of how well they understand it. How well they analyze depends on each child.
