Q. International travel has become cheaper these days, more and more nations are opening their doors, and more tourists are traveling abroad. Do the advantages of tourism growth outweigh the disadvantages?

There are many countries in the world that depend on tourism. Tourists are inevitably allowed to such countries. I believe that the advantages of travelers visiting a country matter more than its disadvantages. This essay will reveal the fact that tourism should be promoted for obvious reasons not mentioned below.

To commence with, let's start with the positive side of this idea. Firstly, people who visit the country will spend money on many activities that will help in the growth of the economy. Secondly, through these activities, the local community learns about the culture of different peoples. Third, it provides the host country with a variety of business opportunities. For example, a recent magazine article published 10 pages on the benefits of tourism in the Middle East.

On the contrary, the other side of the coin must not be overlooked. Undoubtedly, there are certain undeniable disadvantages associated with a visit by a foreigner to another state. One of the reasons is that they become carriers of certain diseases for which we are not ready. This can create unimaginable situations. Another reason is that foreigners do not comply with local regulations and spread pollution. For example, in the past year, some foreign visitors spread Coronavirus to the local population of the host country, and local authorities had to fight to get the vaccine introduced.

To conclude, given the aforementioned advantages, which are stronger over the disadvantages, we must promote visitors from overseas. However, we must take precautions to remedy the aforementioned deficiencies, which can be dealt with through strict laws.
