Q. Education of young people is highly prioritized in many countries. However educating adults who cannot write or read is even more important and governments should spend more money on this. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In many countries, great attention is paid to the education of young people. However, some communities believe that tutoring adults without professional skills is even more important, and governments should spend more money on it. In my opinion, I strongly disagree with this statement and will dwell on it in detail in this essay.

On the one hand, today some countries have compulsory education, so their children can gain knowledge at school. Moreover, when they return home, their caregivers can help them learn more. However, some families have an inhospitable environment for children that prevents them from learning to read and write in the home. For example, if their mother or father is an alcoholic, they cannot teach their children, and some use violence to heat up their offspring, so they are afraid to learn everything. As a result, they have no bills and we have to spend money on these young people.

Moreover, most adults can obtain gainful employment without it being illegal. But in many countries, heirs cannot get a job because of the law. In addition, many young people are influenced by adults, so if they cannot receive money from their government, they will lose the opportunity to learn literacy. For example, in South Korea, many older communities cannot read or write because when they were young people, South Korea was at war, so they could not learn to read and write. But when they become adults, they can learn to write and read. Therefore, we must protect children from this environment.

In conclusion, I completely disagree with this topic. Children with poor caregivers cannot learn to read and write well. Conversely, many adults can learn these skills because they can not only get a job, but also earn money. So, we should spend money on these young people because they are precious people in our lives.
