Q. Some shops are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Do you think this is good for the customer, store employees, and the company as a whole?

Many shops serve people around the clock these days. In my opinion, this is a positive development with many benefits for customers, employees, and businesses. This essay will explore in detail the positive aspects of this approach.

To commence with, there are many good reasons to believe that 24/7 retail stores provide many benefits. First of all, people can get food and other necessities whenever they want. This makes them a better and healthier lifestyle because many food outlets offer healthy and delicious food for the same price throughout the day. It is a blessing for busy professionals who often work outside hours. Gone are these days when individuals worked during the day and slept at night. Now, thanks to globalization, many businesses operate around the clock. When retail stores are also open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they can better serve people working night shifts.

Job creation is another benefit of this development. When the stores have 24/7 employees, they need more employees. This creates job opportunities for many people. Staff can also work overtime and receive higher wages. Business wins a lot too. By serving customers around the clock, they can earn higher income. Research has shown that outlets that are open day and night generate higher returns than outlets that only serve customers during the day.

In conclusion, when stores remain open throughout the day, they bring benefits to the community, workers and businesses. Therefore, in my opinion, this trend is largely positive.
