Q. Directors of large organizations receive much higher wages than ordinary employees. Some people believe it is necessary, but others are of the opinion that it's unfair. Discuss both views and give your own opinions?

According to some people, the astronomical salaries of corporate executives are not justified, especially since ordinary employees earn meager sums. In my opinion, it is perfectly fine for management level employees to earn higher remuneration.

To inaugurate with, top corporate executives enjoy large pay scales for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, people in higher positions have to deal with several serious situations, and they must control such situations in a combative way. Here their decision-making ability and intellectual level are tested, for which they are paid enormously. In addition, people in leadership positions have coveted academic degrees and invaluable experience. They often start as junior employees and, through their talent and hard work, rise to higher positions. Therefore, the company should reward their contribution by offering them a fat paycheck .

On the other hand, there are those who believe that employees who work day and night for the company and do hard work should receive a salary equal to the directors. They claim that their efforts are unmatched and they are the backbone of the corporation. Thus, they deserve higher remuneration comparable to that of executives and managers. However, I believe that although top executives do not do a lot of manual work, they are always under stress, as they must manage the entire company and its staff in an intelligent manner. To do this, they need to take error-free decisions, and they also take full responsibility for any mistakes they make on their part.

In conclusion, I firmly reiterate that although ordinary employees do a lot of painstaking work, companies do not hold them accountable for their failures. Conversely, executives must bear the brunt of all their decisions and are therefore paid much more than ordinary employees.
