Q. The table below presents the food consumption per person weekly in a European country in 1992, 2002, and 2012.

The given table chart illustrates the number of vegetables, meat, wheat, bean, and cheese consumed weekly in grams per capita in a European country in three different periods of time.

On analyzing the data, it is clear that in 1992 per capita consumption of vegetables was 2140 grams, and after a decade this figure increased by only 50 grams; in 2012, it has 2220 gram consumption. For cheese, this was the lowest consumption in 1992, with 113 grams used, and remained the same after that time at 125 grams. For meat, nearly above 1 KG meat used per person in 1992, and after two decades it declines slightly to 16 grams although, between that period it touched its peak 1211 grams.

Moving to the bean, consumption per head was half that of meat in 1992, and it has 546 grams and 590 grams in 2002 and 2012, respectively. For wheat, 837 grams were used in 1992 and 920 in 2002; After a decade, in 2012 it was close to 1 kg.

Overall, the consumption of all foods increased slightly in the given tenure, with the exception of meat in 2012; vegetables were the most consumed food during period, and cheese was the least.
