Q. Whether or not a person achieves their aims in life is mostly related to luck. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is widely debated by some that luck is the main factor in achieving success. Although luck plays an unbearably important role in some success stories, I firmly believe that hard work in the form of skill has a great influence on people in achieving their goals.

One of the main reasons is the lack of skill in the history of every successful businessman. Whether or not they get the start-up costs by accident, they still need people who know how to keep their business running. To illustrate, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of the leading digital company Meta, tried to develop his expertise in online communication software systems to make a profit, and also hired professionals for global development. In contrast, the recent news of a teenager from the United Kingdom who had won a million lottery by luck, was tragically back in his street life as he had no management skills to spend money wisely. This possibility is enough to take the skills that are gained from hard work to outperform the luck acquired.

Moreover, another good reason is the importance of education in achieving a dream job, which is usually considered a goal by many workers. Furthermore, employees are required to have certain educational qualifications that applicants must meet. For instance, applicants must have a bachelor's degree and internship experience to get a high-paying job. As a result, many parents send their offspring to leading universities that provide internships in large factories, and their children will try to absorb the information, and later on, are likely to be marked as bright students who are more likely to be accepted as workers.

To conclude, hard work is invisibly a key factor in achieving goals. If society implemented the concept of hard work in their heart and actions, luck would be seen as a small contribution.
