Q. The table below shows expenditures on advertising of four car companies in the United Kingdom in 2002.
The table chart illustrates the amount of money that four car manufacturing companies spent on different forms of advertising in the United Kingdom in 2002.
In 2002, Cetirizine allocated $70 million for television advertising, while Vauxhall's figure was slightly lower at $65 million. Meanwhile, Renault spent $59 million on television ads, while Rover only spent $45 million. In terms of press advertising, the amount of money spent by Renault was again the highest at $45 million, slightly higher than Rover's at $38 million. By contrast, Vauxhall and Cetirizine spent only $8 and $12 million on press advertising, respectively.
In other forms, cinema and outdoor advertising generated the lowest costs, with each company spending less than $10 million. It is also noteworthy that the cost of radio advertising for all car manufacturers was the same - $ 15 million each.
Overall, it is clear that Renault spent the major proportion of money on advertising during 2002. In addition, television advertising was the most popular advertising format, while cinema advertising showed the opposite trend.
