Q.  The chart below shows the protein and calorie intake of people in different parts of the world.

The given bar charts illustrate the average protein and calories intake in India, East Africa, Latin America and North America.

 

In terms of average protein intake, North America had the highest figure of 80%, which includes the maximum proportion of protein (62%) derived from animal fats and meats, and other protein (18%). Latin America was the second largest consumer (45%), which contains animal protein (32%) and other proteins (13%). East Africa then came in third (31%), which includes animal protein (16%) and other proteins (15%). Finally, India had a minimal share of average calorie intake (28%), which includes animal protein (13%) and other protein (15%).

Moving further,  the average calorie intake of people from North America is much higher than that of people from Latin America, East Africa, and India, at 3500, followed by Latin America (2750), East Africa (2250), and India (2000).

 

Overall, it is crystal clear that North Americans had a much higher value of the average protein or calories intake than the other countries.
