Q. Some people think that libraries are a waste of resources and money so computers should replace them. However, others do not agree. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

In recent times, it has been noted that people are not using libraries regularly compared to the past. Due to this, some proponents believe that computers can replace book galleries as they are a waste of resources and money, while some critics oppose it as they believe that libraries cannot be replaced. In this essay, I will discuss both points of view and share my personal opinion.

On the one hand, few tech-savvy adults believe that computers can completely replace libraries. This is mainly due to the fact that libraries take up a lot of space for book storage and seating areas, meaning that it requires a huge amount of floor space in the building that could otherwise be saved if people read on their personal computer. For example, if I want to read a book, then I can read it at home on my personal computer without wasting space and money, especially sitting and reading in the library. Moreover, computers have large capacity storage space where readers can store many books and read them at any time with easy searching. In this light, book rooms can be a waste of resources and money.

On the other hand, detractors do not agree with the above-mentioned point of view because they believe that the book reading experience is different in the library. The reason for this is that if they sit at home reading or studying, they experience a lot of noise and disturbance. In other words, a library can provide a calm environment that allows you to focus and concentrate. For example, when a student has an exam, he prefers to study in the library rather than at home because he can concentrate better. Not only is it quiet, but physically reading a book puts much less pressure on your eyes compared to reading a book on a computer. Therefore, it is clear that libraries are useful for readers.

In conclusion, although some people may believe that libraries are useless, many others believe that they should exist because they provide a tranquil environment for readers. In my opinion, there should be libraries so that students can have their own space to read if they are not comfortable reading on the computer at home.
