Q. An increase in people's life expectancy means they have to work longer to pay for their retirement. One option is that people start working at a younger age. Is this choice a positive or a negative development?

As the life expectancy of people is getting higher every day, older people have to devote more and more time to work. However, some choose to work at a younger age. From my perspective, this is a positive trend.

Entering a job at an early age can be a good choice for improving the financial situation of people as they age. The younger a person is, the more energetic and persistent he is in his work. Undoubtedly, young people can carry out most office tasks with their zeal and maximum productivity. They are less absent-minded, make fewer blunders and work, while having the ability to do multiple tasks at the same time. With this in mind, the prospects for career advancement are promising, and they are likely to climb the career ladder within a few years. As a consequence, their income may be colossal enough to enable them to live in retirement in the future.

In addition, unlike senior citizens, who may start working late or not advance in their careers, active young people would be wise to choose an early job alternative. You will have more time to try different working conditions, learn new skills and meet people from different walks of life without worrying about low wages or lost opportunities caused by changing jobs. They can do this as much as they want since a young age gives them experience and a lot of freedom to pursue their dreams. Wages continue to rise, but young people enjoy job satisfaction and live life to the fullest.

To conclude, I would contend that the current situation in which young people start earning a living earlier than in the past is a positive development.
